Engineering Manager - Java Technologies (10-16 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance applications using Java Spring Boot.

- Architect cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.

- Drive best engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

- Ensure system reliability, security, and high availability using modern DevOps practices.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce high coding standards and best practices.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a managerial role.

- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).

- Experience with system design, distributed computing, and cloud-native architectures.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
