Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial US Sales Manager to drive new business development, build relationships, and spearhead Monocepts entry into the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services sales and a proven ability to navigate and close deals with BFSI clients in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Operations
- Own and lead the sales target for Inside Sales teams.
- Propose an Inside Sales Operational Plan and achieve the defined goals.
- Train, review, and manage Inside Sales team performance on a weekly basis.
- Handle the complete sales cycle, including list building, prospecting, and closing smaller deals.
- Manage the sales cycle for larger accounts, from list building to fixing qualified meetings for
Outside Sales teams and senior management.
- Constantly feed the marketing team and senior management with insights and inputs from buyers to shape Monocepts strategy.
Business Development & Client Management
- Leverage a deep understanding of the U.S. sales market, particularly in BFSI and IT services.
- Identify and target potential BFSI clients in the U.S. market.
- Respond to RFPs and submit compelling proposals in collaboration with the Pre-Sales teams.
- Present Monocepts capabilities, defend estimates, and support deal closure with Pre-Sales teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in BFSI organizations, such as CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Procurement.
Key Requirements
- Having B1 visa is a plus
Educational Background
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs or equivalent).
Professional Experience
- 5-10 years total experience, with 3-5 years of post-MBA experience in sales, business development, or client management roles in IT services or BFSI sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skill Set
- Strong understanding of the U.S. sales market, including sales cycles, buyer personas, and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in managing and training sales teams, with a focus on Inside Sales operations.
- Proficiency in crafting compelling proposals and responding to RFPs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
