Manager/Assistant Manager - IT System Administration

Job Purpose

The new hire will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, coordinating IT audits, and supporting compliance requirements. The role includes troubleshooting, network management, access control, and ensuring seamless IT operations with minimal disruption.

Functional Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, storage, and security systems (Windows/Linux), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, authentication policies, and security configurations.
• Perform network performance monitoring, bandwidth analysis, and log management using appropriate tools.
• Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and network infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage patches, updates, and software configurations
• Coordinate IT audits by providing required documentation, system access, and compliance evidence to auditors.

Qualifications : Bachelors degree in IT / Comp Science

Experience : 5 to 10 Years in the Equity broking industry

Functional Competencies

Knowledge of Windows & Linux server administration, networking, firewalls, VLANs, and security controls

Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and network security devices

Experience in Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) , IDR and SEBI Audit coordination
