Job Description
Work on requirements specifications, feasibility studies, design, and implementation cycles for LTE/5G RLC, MAC features development/enhancement, integration, debugging, and technical reviews.
Mandatory Skills:
- Development experience in Rel 13/14/15 - MAC, RLC, PDCP MAC-PHY interface
- Experienced in C Programming, Data Structures, Pointers, Linux and RTOS concepts
- Good knowledge in gdb or any other debugging tools
- Experience in the use of code analysis tools like Valgrind, Klocwork to determine memory leaks
- Ability to work across technologies (4G,3G,NR) in Layer-2 modules
- Fixing defects and updating the analysis results in the defect tracking system
- Participate in system level analysis and debugging complex issues.
- Excellent understanding of 3GPP specs 36.321/36.322/36.323/36.212 and other public References
- Mapping of Logical Channels to Transport Channels
- Knowledge of QoS, Scheduling Schemes, DCIs, PDCCH, HARQ, RACH Process, Link Adaptation, Power Control algorithms
- Knowledge of CQI, RI, PMI, Uplink Scheduling Scheduling Request (SR), BSR, PHR
- Knowledge of RLC TM UM AM Modes and its functioning
- Knowledge of PDCP Ciphering Integrity Protection Algos, RoHC Header Compression
