Job Description
- DevOps Engineer (5+ Years Experience) - Kubernetes Google CloudJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-onexperience to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise inKubernetes (local Google Cloud) and will be responsible for designing,implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure
- You willwork closely with development, security, and operations teams to automatedeployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud-based applications
- Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud (GKE) andlocal environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolssuch as Terraform or Helm
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring highavailability and security
- Implement best practices for containerization, including Docker imagemanagement and orchestration
- Manage cloud networking, security, and access controls within GoogleCloud
- Work with development teams to enable DevSecOps practices, ensuringsecurity and compliance
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus,Grafana, ELK, or Google Cloud Operations Suite
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization through effective scaling strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps and Kubernetes advancements,implementing new tools and methodologies as needed
- Required Skills Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SiteReliability Engineering (SRE)
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (local Google Kubernetes Engine - GKE)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like GKE, IAM, CloudFunctions, VPC, and Cloud Storage
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, orTekton
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
- Strong understanding of Docker, containerization, and orchestration
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e

- Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud costoptimization
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go

- Familiarity with Service Mesh tools (eg, Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience with policy management tools (e

- Knowledge of serverless computing on Google Cloud
- Education Certifications: Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relatedfield (preferred but not mandatory)
- Google Cloud Certifications (eg, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer,Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA) are a plus
