Position: Mobile App DeveloperIncumbent:Reporting To: Devices Development ManagerPrimary Role:The Mobile App Developer role at Inner Range is a position that requires alevel of expertise in mobile app development.The Mobile App Developer reporting to the Devices Development Manager,will take a role in developing, debugging, documenting, testing, deploying, andmodifying code for Inner Range s mobile and tablet applications.The Mobile App Developer may also contribute to design, architecture,documentation, research, process improvement and both tool and technologyselection as required.1.0 CompetenciesSpecific Competencies Academic qualifications: A degree in a suitable field or equivalentexperience. Computer programming skills: Knowledge of programminglanguages used for mobile app development such as Java/Kotlin,Swift and optionally C#, Xamarin, .NET MAUI, etc. Mobile App Development Experience: 5+ years experience indeveloping, deploying and supporting mobile apps including: iOS Swift development Android Java/Kotlin development Apple App Store and Google Play Store deployment Communicating with RESTful APIs Utilising version control systems for development (E.g. Git)2.0 Duties & Responsibilities:Inner Range Pty Ltd Quality Control Form IR QCF 068 - 10/08Primary duties and responsibilities Develop code, configurations, and documentation in support ofmobile application development. Develop test plans, test specifications, test configurations, developand run unit tests and configure appropriate testing in the CI/DIpipelines. Contribute to meetings with team members or their direct reportwith project status updates and goals. Analyse mobile applications, development tools and proceduresand suggest improvements to increase productivity. Reviewing output (code, specifications, test plans etc) of peerdevelopers in the team and suggesting improvements whereapplicable. Contributing to project development planning to provide estimationsof development durations. Occasional contributions to teaching programs on mobile appdevelopment topics.Duties common to all Inner Range technical Staff Advocate for best practices (unit / automated testing, code reviews,code quality). Solve technical problems with high scope and complexity within yourarea of responsibility. Provide help and advice for other developers at the organisation andshare your expertise across the team.
