Job Description: MIS Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management:

• Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Create structured and reusable data models for reporting.

2. Reporting & Analysis:

• Perform advanced data analysis using functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and ARRAY formulas.
• Use Pivot Tables and Power Query for summarizing and analyzing data.
• Conduct statistical analysis and forecasting using Excel tools.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to support business operations and decision-making.

3. Dashboard Creation:

• Design interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power Pivot, charts, and slicers.
• Present data insights in a visually compelling and easy-to-understand format.

4. Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver customized reports.
• Communicate findings effectively with management and stakeholders.

5. Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting reporting or data-related issues.
• Ensure quality assurance, data audits, and data cleaning to maintain reporting accuracy.

6. Technical Expertise:

• Leverage ERP systems or tools like JIRA to extract and manage data.
• Utilize JIRA Query Language (JQL) for data querying and reporting.
• Understand IT project flows and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to align reporting with project needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.).
• Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Knowledge of JIRA, JQL, and familiarity with IT project workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
