Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This person would be responsible for development, support and maintenance of complex projects to build and enhance best-in-class network security solutions.

Position: Software Engineer (Java or Spark Developer)

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Java/Spark developer you will be responsible for

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise real-time data processing framework.
• Design, develop and maintain enterprise batch data processing framework.
• Spark query tuning and performance optimization of framework.
• Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.
• Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artefacts.
• Collaborating with team members to help support core capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritize requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Overall 3-5 years of experience in Core Java and multi threading.
• 2 years experience in Apache Spark.
• Solid understanding of Solid principles and Class design patterns.
• Good understanding of distributed systems (e.g. CAP theorem, partitioning, replication, and consistency)
• Strong trouble shooting skill.
• Experience in Spark query tuning and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Big Data tech stacks (Clickhouse/Druid, Presto/Trino, Flume, Kafka, and NO-SQL databases) is preferred.
• Experience in developing or designing highly available/redundant software is preferred.
• Experience in building and designing micro services and cloud native applications is preferred.
• Experience in Kubernetes Openshift and Docker is preferred.

Work Experience: 3-5 Years

Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech., or M.Sc. in Computer Science from reputed institutes.
