SQL Server Database Administration - Performance Tuning (8-15 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- 8+ years of experience in ABAP

- Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances

- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security

- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database

- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time

- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement

- Should have worked on high availability and DR strategies.

- Administer all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures

Essential Skills:

- Experience as Production SQL DBA for 24x7 Support.

- This is a hand on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with clients Database, Analyst, and Operations teams

Desirable Skills:

- The successful candidate must be highly motivated, fast learner, flexible, willing to assume responsibility, and deliver quality work on time
