Moback - Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and API testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing automated test cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.

- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.

- Perform API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.

- Implement and maintain testing frameworks using Cucumber or similar tools.

- Conduct regression testing to ensure stability after code changes.

- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback to the development team.

- Participate in code reviews and provide input on improving test coverage and efficiency.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and automation testing.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation testing.

- Knowledge of Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).

- Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation in build processes.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.

- ISTQB or similar certification is an advantage.
