News Editor - Sports Segment (7-8 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced News Editor - Sports to join our editorial team in Delhi. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the sports industry and a proven track record in news editing. The News Editor will be responsible for overseeing the sports news section, managing content quality, ensuring timely news updates, and leading a team of writers and reporters.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Planning : Develop and implement editorial strategies for covering major sports events, trending sports topics, and timely news updates.

Team Leadership : Lead a team of sports writers and reporters, providing guidance, feedback, and editorial support to maintain high-quality standards.

Quality Assurance : Ensure all content meets editorial guidelines and is accurate, engaging, and adheres to the organization's style and tone.

News Coordination : Coordinate with reporters and correspondents to cover live sports events, breaking news, and other important sports updates.

Trend Monitoring : Stay updated on the latest sports trends, events, and industry news to produce timely and relevant content.

Audience Engagement : Optimize content for digital platforms, including headlines, SEO-friendly formats, and engaging multimedia elements to increase readership and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :
