PHP/Laravel Developer - Backend Technologies (4-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- PHP : Strong experience in PHP development, including deep understanding of PHP frameworks, especially Laravel.

- Laravel Framework : Expertise in Laravel framework for building scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications.

- Database Management : Proficient in working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases. Experience in designing database schemas, writing optimized queries, and ensuring data integrity.

- RESTful APIs : Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs for application integration and data exchange.

- MVC Architecture : Solid understanding of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and its implementation in Laravel.

- Frontend Technologies : Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular for integration with the backend.

- Version Control : Experience using version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

- Authentication & Security : Understanding of authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, session management) and secure coding practices to safeguard user data.

- Testing : Experience with writing unit tests and conducting debugging to ensure the application is error-free.

- Deployment & CI/CD : Experience in deploying applications to live environments and working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Performance Optimization : Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) and performance optimization techniques to enhance web application performance.

- Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.

- Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Laravel-based eCommerce platforms (like Laravel Nova, Laravel Spark).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean) for hosting and scaling applications.

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
