VB/.Net Developer (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using VB.NET, adhering to best coding practices and company standards.

- Application Enhancement: Improve existing applications by implementing new features, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting bugs or issues.

- Database Management: Work with SQL Server or other databases to design, optimize, and maintain database structures supporting the applications.

- Code Review & Testing: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and performance. Participate in the development and execution of automated and manual testing procedures.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to gather and understand project requirements.

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to the software's design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support for the software and assist in resolving any post-deployment issues.

Key Skills :

- Strong proficiency in VB.NET programming.

- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET or .NET Core.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience working with SQL Server or similar databases.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in VB.NET development or a similar role.
