Senior Legal Associate - Litigation

Role & Responsibilities: Litigation Associate (5-10 years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft Legal Documents: Prepare Plaint, Written Statements, Affidavits, Powers of Attorney, Writ Petitions, Appeals, and more.
• Court Representation: Represent the firm in High Court, City Civil Court, Sessions Court, DRT, and other relevant authorities.
• Case Management: Handle litigation matters, ensuring timely responses and conducting legal research.
• Litigation Systems Management: Update and maintain litigation matters in our systems.
• Coordination with External Counsel: Oversee legacy litigation and maintain accurate records of dates and appearances.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Desired Qualification: LLB
• Experience: Minimum 4-10 years of experience in handling civil & commercial litigation, with at least 3 years in a law firm.
• Skills:
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of legal affairs.
• Superior proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Highly ethical, proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities with other law firms, counsels, and lawyers.
• Thorough understanding of various statutes, acts, and regulatory frameworks related to legal and compliance matters.
• Court Experience: Practicing before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, and Sessions Court, as well as Metropolitan Magistrate Courts in Mumbai.
