General Manager Quality Control

We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead our quality assurance efforts in various projects, including those with NHAI and Railways, across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system, including quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Manage and update the company's quality management manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate the definition and distribution of company procedures.
• Plan and supervise quality system audits, evaluating necessary corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise and assistance to other company units and projects regarding quality matters.
• Evaluate the quality systems of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare quarterly budgets for quality control and assurance.
• Identify and allocate quality personnel to various duties and projects.
• Liaise with the authorized company quality system certification body.
• Plan and conduct internal audit inspections, reporting audits' observations and findings.
• Review monthly quality audit observations and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site management for external quality audits.
• Prepare management review meetings regarding the quality system.
• Train all personnel on quality system issues, management, and methodologies.
• Implement necessary training programs for quality personnel.
• Provide input for waste utilization and the finalization of quarries and specialized machinery.
• Propose value engineering initiatives and the introduction of new technologies.
• Suggest preventive measures and implement improvement programs.
• Plan and assess project audit results and analyze non-conformities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
