Role Overview:
- MKC Infrastructure Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Manager - Quality Management to lead and oversee all quality assurance, quality control, and quality management processes across our ongoing and upcoming projects.
- As the General Manager Quality, you will be responsible for managing the Quality Department, ensuring that the company's projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.
- This senior managerial role requires strategic oversight, leadership, and a hands-on approach to quality assurance in construction operations.
- You will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality strategy for our large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, railways, and bridges, ensuring that every phase, from planning to execution, adheres to MKC Infrastructure's rigorous quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead and manage the Quality Department to ensure the successful implementation of quality standards across all projects.
- Develop and execute quality management strategies aligned with corporate goals and industry best practices.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee the development and execution of quality control systems, ensuring that all construction processes and materials meet specified standards and compliance requirements.
- Total Quality Management (TQM): Implement and monitor Total Quality Management systems across projects, ensuring that continuous improvement processes are embedded into all stages of project execution.
- Auditing & Compliance: Conduct regular internal and external audits of ongoing projects to ensure adherence to - quality policies, standards, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure all projects comply with legal and environmental standards.
- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability across departments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for senior management and external stakeholders on all quality-related matters.
- Provide detailed reports on quality performance, issues, and improvements to the executive team.
- Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Lead efforts to identify quality-related issues and proactively implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
