Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Façade Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and detailing façade systems for various architectural projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful execution of façade designs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for façade systems, including glass, aluminium, steel, and composite materials.
• Create technical drawings, 3D models, and shop drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure the feasibility and structural integrity of façade designs.
• Conduct material selection based on project requirements, budget, and sustainability considerations.
• Analyse thermal, acoustic, and weatherproofing performance of façade systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for procurement and manufacturing processes.
• Assist in project documentation, compliance with building codes, and quality control checks.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor installation progress and resolve design issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in façade design, curtain walls, glazing, or cladding systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, structural principles, and façade engineering standards.
• Understanding of thermal performance, waterproofing, and acoustics in façade design.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
