We are seeking a skilled DevOps - Lead with hands on experience with Ansible, scripting languages, and AWS. This role requires someone with hands-on expertise to quickly adapt and provide the leadership necessary to guide teams effectively. The DevOps Lead will play a key role in managing ongoing projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring streamlined workflows for optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure.
Oversee the development and execution of automation workflows using Ansible and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.) to improve operational efficiency.
Take charge of cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using AWS services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering professional development.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and automation issues in a timely manner.
Ensure that team activities align with the companys strategic goals, and maintain best practices in coding, system design, and infrastructure management.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security of cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Requirements :
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or DevOps-related roles.
Scripting Languages: Strong expertise in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automation and tool development.
Ansible: In-depth experience with Ansible for configuration management, automation, and orchestration tasks.
AWS: Proven experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS, and VPC.
CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.
Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of engineers.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and performance optimization skills.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
