Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing custom plugins, integrating APIs, and writing custom APIs for external integrations. A focus on website speed optimization, responsive design, and proficiency with Elementor and PHP is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Development and Maintenance
• Develop and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
• Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility

• Custom Plugin Development
• Design, build, and deploy custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
• Optimize plugins for speed, performance, and scalability.

• API Development and Integration
• Integrate third-party APIs into WordPress/WooCommerce sites.
• Develop custom APIs to enable external systems to interact with the website.

• Performance and Speed Optimization
• Optimize website loading times, ensuring fast and seamless user experiences.
• Implement best practices for caching, image optimization, and database queries.

• Elementor and Page Building
• Utilize Elementor for custom page designs and layouts.
• Ensure designs are consistent with brand identity and optimized for user experience.

• Responsive Design
• Create and maintain responsive website designs for optimal performance across devices.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure seamless functionality on mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.

• Technical Troubleshooting and Support
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement new features and resolve bugs.

• General Development Tasks
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong focus on WooCommerce.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Elementor and custom theme/plugin development.
• Demonstrated ability to build and integrate custom APIs.
• Experience with website speed optimization techniques and tools (e.g., caching, CDN, lazy loading).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and implementation.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
