Roles and Responsibilities
Bookkeeping: Record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, using accounting software or manual systems.
Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, processing payments, and handling vendor or client queries.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy between recorded transactions and bank balances.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, summarizing financial positions and performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Taxation and Compliance: Assist in tax preparation, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide necessary documentation during audits. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B), TDS returns, ITRs, and other tax documents accurately.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, review variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized financial records, ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial documents.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication: Collaborate with other departments, external auditors, and stakeholders, providing financial information and addressing financial queries.
Utilize Tally ERP software for bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries, voucher entry, and reporting.
