Opening Transport In charge( Male Only ) @MIOT Hospitals, Chennai.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Is responsible for complete functioning of the transport department in particular shift.

- In-charge of the day-to-day operations of the transport department and efficiently manage a team of drivers and vehicles.

- Ensure periodic maintenance of all vehicles is as per schedule and to plan, organize and manage the drivers to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with the organizations requirements.

-Daily checking of drivers personal grooming (neat and tidy uniform, clean shaven, proper haircut, etc.) appropriate dress codes are strictly followed.

- Periodically follow up of all statutory requirements of vehicles like Insurance, Tax, permits & FC etc. Maintaining proper records of vehicle mileage and movement of vehicle, including wear and tear of machinery and consumable items.

-To be the first point of contact for all drivers.

- To perform daily check on all vehicles and escalate issues for resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile

-Good communication and computer skill and good knowledge about transportation activities.

Ability to take the team together .

- Any Graduation with Driving License

- Minimum of 2 year Experience.

- Rotational Shifts.
