Technical Project Manager

Overview:

The Technical Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, manage software development and testing in an Agile environment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This role emphasizes proactive leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a customer-centric approach, with opportunities to work with diverse technologies, including Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver projects within strict deadlines and budgets.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ownership among developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage Agile sprints, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and achieving sprint goals.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and solutions.
• Conduct retrospectives and project postmortems to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs while mitigating risks proactively.
• Ensure projects meet architectural standards and leverage best practices, especially in SaaS and CRM environments like Salesforce.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on delivering value and exceeding expectations.

Experience:

• 8 -15 years of overall professional experience in the IT industry.
• At least 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT services or SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience in any programming language such as Java, Python, or C# is advantageous.
• Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Tricentis TOSCA will be an added advantage.

Educational Background:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (not mandatory but preferred).

Certifications:

Certifications like PMP or ScrumMaster are a plus but not mandatory.

Skills & Attributes:

• Highly proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
• People from other tech stacks with a flair for learning Salesforce and enthusiasm for adopting new technologies are most welcome.
