Job Description


Minkasu, Inc. an innovative mobile payments company based in Silicon Valley, California, USA, is looking for a VP, Engineering to lead our engineering team in India. You will have the opportunity to play a key role to architect and drive engineering for the core components of our mobile payments solution. You will be leading engineers responsible for different components of the solution. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle (including design, development, testing, integration, delivery, documentation) using agile/scrum methodologies for our
    • Minkasu 2FA SDK for Android
    • Minkasu 2FA SDK for iOS
    • Transaction processing platform
    • Transaction risk platform
    • Dashboards & Billing systems
  • Minkasu 2FA SDK for Android
  • Minkasu 2FA SDK for iOS
  • Transaction processing platform
  • Transaction risk platform
  • Dashboards & Billing systems
  • Design mission critical infrastructure in AWS Cloud that supports our mobile payment solution
  • Interface with the product team on new projects/enhancements/requests
  • Present reports and plans to top management as required
  • Hiring, training and maintaining a rock star engineering team
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools
Desired Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or relevant field, with a background in payments and security
  • 12+ years experience in payment engineering
  • 7+ years experience managing software development teams
  • 5+ years experience designing and developing software
  • Successfully managed the entire software development lifecycle for multiple releases of mobile Apps/SDKs, backend services and web applications in AWS environment
  • Working knowledge of Java, Objective-C, Node.js, SQL
  • Comfortable with Linux, SQL/NoSQL databases, GitHub, JIRA
  • Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
