Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure their successful deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions and frameworks for various operational processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define project scopes and requirements.
Develop and implement software and scripts to automate manual processes and tasks.
Integrate existing systems and tools with new automation solutions.
Configure and maintain automation tools and platforms.
Test and validate automated systems to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
Monitor automation systems and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Document automation processes, workflows, and configurations.
Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on automated solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.
Continuously improve existing automation frameworks and processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation issues.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications in automation technologies (e.g., Certified Automation Professional).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker).
Understanding of agile methodologies and software development practices.
Experience with test automation and test-driven development (TDD).
