A Technical Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation for all the internal processes and the product. This role will require expertise in Independently handling and delivering detailed documentation projects. Responsibilities:
- Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides - Determine the type of publication that will best serve the project requirements; adjust the tone and technical terms used to meet the needs based on the audience and to ensure understanding - Working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements; to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements - Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications - Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities - Create and maintain the information architecture - Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals - Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts - Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Required Skills
- Proven working experience of at least 5 years in technical writing of software documentation - Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail - Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development - Good understanding of content management systems - Experience in Technical Writing about enterprise software or similar applications, API documentation, content planning, content creation and content review - Excellent written and grammatical skills in English - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
