Job Description
Job Overview
The Environmental Health and Safety Project Specialist II will provide general project coordination in support of the execution and implementation of Enterprise Environmental, Health and Safety Management (EEHS) Team. This role will be task and project focused, including executive level report and deck/PPT development, data collecting and curation, and assisting team members with various environmental, health, and safety related projects or campaigns, and other efforts required for overall EEHS program support.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Support the EEHS Team s overall program strategy by supporting key team members projects and campaigns, through general administrative activities and application of EHS knowledge
- Collect insightful EHS metrics to help illuminate complex operational and strategic problems, projects, and indices
- Assist with day-to-day tasks such as determined by client, including but not limited to preparing reports, building executive level decks, and maintaining documentation
- Help coordinate EHS programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations across different global regions.
- Input and maintain EHS-related data in tracking systems, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping for audits and inspections.
- Assist in tracking EHS training programs for employees, ensuring all staff members are up-to-date with required certifications.
- Maintain and organize EHS documentation, including safety data sheets, incident reports, and risk assessments, ensuring easy access and version control.
- Help prepare for safety audits and inspections by ensuring relevant records are available and assisting in documenting findings.
- Assist in the process of reporting and investigating workplace accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, ensuring that appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with local, state, and international EHS regulations, assisting in the preparation of compliance reports.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor s degree in relevant field of Health and Safety or a related field
- Recent graduate, and/or minimum 1-2 years progressive professional experience in Health and Safety or related field required
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other related data visualization systems and tools
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organization
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn and master new technology
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding setting
- Focus on data analytics and insights
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
