Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with 9+ years of expertise in both manual and automation testing.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in setting up and leading automation frameworks from scratch, with a focus on both website and mobile app testing.

This role requires leadership capabilities to manage the QA team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure top-tier product quality.

The candidate should also stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA, including tools like BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Leadership :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust automation testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications.

- Establish best practices and processes for test automation within the organization.

- Lead efforts to continuously improve test automation, including the selection of tools and frameworks.

- Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in the QA field, such as BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing and tracking.

Team Leadership :

- Lead the QA team, mentoring and guiding junior testers.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure QA alignment with project goals.

- Ensure the QA team is consistently delivering high-quality testing results, both automated and manual.

Manual Testing :

- Lead and participate in manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and reports for manual and automated testing efforts.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with development teams to understand the product and feature requirements.

- Report and track issues, defects, and enhancements using tools like JAM Board for bug capturing, ensuring effective resolution.

- Collaborate in agile development cycles, ensuring timely testing and quality delivery of features.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of hands-on experience in QA with a focus on Automation Testing.

- Proven expertise in setting up and managing automation frameworks for web and mobile applications from scratch.

- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and processes.

- Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages for automation (e., Java, Python).

- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab) for integrating automation testing.

- Familiarity with tools like BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing.

- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e., Jira, Confluence).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.

Preferred :

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e., JMeter).

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and infrastructure.

- Familiarity with security testing processes.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
