Job Description - Tax Specialist (Expat Tax)

Experience Level: 7 to 9 Years into US Tax

Location: Hyderabad

**Qualification: EA/CPA with license (mandatory)**

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with US advisors to review expat tax returns for the current year and/or multi-year tax returns.
• Gain understanding of tax concepts and various tax situations, guiding clients in the application of correct tax concepts.
• Assist in understanding tax notices and responding to them accordingly.
• Reviewing complex tax returns
• Responding to IRS notices and talking to IRS representatives.
• Demonstrating the ability to thoroughly understand the tax professionals' questions, conduct thorough research, and provide comprehensive responses.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Have good experience on dealing with complex tax situations on individual tax returns (1040, 1040 NR)
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent research skills.
