Job Title: Academic Lead - Full Time - Bangalore
Location: Bangalore
The Academic Lead is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the academic quality, curriculum development, and instructional delivery within a specific department or educational program. This role involves mentoring faculty, ensuring compliance with academic standards, and fostering an engaging learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum & Program Development
Design, develop, and refine curriculum content in alignment with industry trends and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with faculty to enhance course materials and instructional methods.
Ensure course objectives and learning outcomes meet academic and professional standards.
Faculty & Instructional Support
Provide mentorship, training, and professional development for faculty members.
Oversee faculty performance, including course delivery, assessment methods, and student engagement.
Promote innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced learning.
Student Success & Engagement
Monitor student performance and retention rates, implementing strategies for improvement.
Address academic concerns and facilitate student advising sessions.
Develop initiatives to enhance student engagement and academic support.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct regular academic audits and assessments to maintain high educational standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align programs with industry and market needs.
Research & Innovation
Encourage faculty and student research initiatives.
Stay updated with academic trends, industry demands, and pedagogical advancements.
Implement new learning tools and resources to improve educational outcomes.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with administration, faculty, and external partners to enhance academic offerings.
Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional decision-making.
Lead initiatives to promote interdisciplinary learning and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ph.D. in Marketing preferred. Experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, or faculty management.
Strong understanding of accreditation standards, assessment methodologies, and learning management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to drive innovation in teaching, research, and student engagement.
