Job Description
Lead a team of software engineers, quality engineers, and architects responsible for multiple cloud offerings, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Product Management, Cloud Operations, and Customers to define product requirements, prioritize and refine features, and ensure timely delivery.
Proactively participate in every aspect of the entire software development lifecycle including input on specifications, designs, development, implementation, test design, test implementation, optimization, and delivery.
Lead and inspire team while guiding them through agile methodologies, facilitating effective collaboration, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Engineering Team, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and market opportunities to enhance overall offerings and delivery.
Gather and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development across Cloud offerings.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required; degree and/or significant coursework in computer science, or similar engineering program
3-5 years of professional experience preferred; Minimum of 5 years of relevant management/supervisory experience, managing teams of software engineering professionals. Exceptional management skills and previous experience managing large teams across different time zones preferred.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and their application in product development is essential. This includes knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
Previous experience overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including strategy development, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization.
Familiarity with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 and/or SOC2 a plus
AWS Cloud Practitioner; AWS Solutions Architect; AWS Developer; AWS SysOps Administrator; AWS DevOps Engineer; Developing Solutions for Azure; GCP Cloud Developer; Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate certifications desired, but not required.
Excellent communication skills for effectively liaising with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and development teams. This includes the ability to articulate product strategies, negotiate priorities, and handle feedback effectively.
