Role Description :

This role requires independent testers working through the lifecycle of quality assurance testing and contributing towards accelerating delivery and drive quality across the application usage lifecycle.

Job Title : Quality Engineer.

Location : Bangalore, India (Hybrid).

Experience : Min experience of 4+ years working in the IT field leading manual and automation testing.

Key responsibilities :

- Close collaboration with other delivery teams, technical support teams and business stakeholders.

- Develop end-to-end testing strategies and prepare test plans through the use of quality processes and methodologies.

- Create tests to identify software problems.

- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.

- Document results of tests for the software development team.

- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.

- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance.

- Works together with the software development to enhance and improve quality of the software.

- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications and expertise :

- B-Tech, B.E, MCA.

- Proven experience as a manual and automation tester.

- Good debugging skills and trouble-shooting.

- Experience in one or more of the following : Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Intern or Selenium.

- Experience in CI/CD, agile methodologies and cloud services (AWS preferred).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Hands on experience with shell scripting.

- Experience in system functional and performance testing.

- Experience in version controls system (git, svn) and bug tracking tools (bugzilla, jira).
