Position : Head of Employee Relations & Operations
Reports To : HR Director
Location : Gurugram
Role Overview:
- The Head of Employee Relations & Operations will lead a team of HR and administrative professionals to ensure the effective execution of HR Planning and Budgeting, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), Payroll and Compliance, People Analytics, Administration and Employee Services, and Employee and Industrial Relations.
- This role is instrumental in championing the company's values and ethics while serving as the custodian for implementing Business Conduct Guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to navigate complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive the organization's vision and values by fostering an ethical and inclusive work environment.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management on employee relations and operational matters.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations:
- Oversee employee relations strategies to foster a positive and productive workplace.
- Manage industrial relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Address grievances, resolve conflicts, and maintain harmonious relations between employees and management.
HR Planning, Payroll, and Compliance:
- Lead HR planning and budgeting initiatives to align resources with organizational priorities.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Compensation & Benefits (C&B):
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analyses to ensure alignment with industry standards.
People Analytics:
- Leverage people analytics to provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor workforce metrics and recommend strategies to enhance organizational performance.
Administration & Employee Services:
- Oversee administrative functions, including facility management, vendor relations, and employee services.
- Ensure seamless execution of employee services to enhance the overall employee experience.
Greenfield Projects:
- Lead HR initiatives for greenfield projects, ensuring smooth setup and alignment with organizational objectives.
Performance Management and Skill Development:
- Drive the Performance Management System (PMS) to align employee performance with business goals.
- Deliver mandated training programs and support skill development projects to build organizational capability.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, and administration.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading HR teams and managing complex business challenges.
- Expertise in compensation and benefits, payroll management, and HR analytics.
