Role Name: Plant HR Head
Functional Reporting to: HR Director
Administrative Reporting to: Plant Head
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of well-rounded HR & IR experience managing plant and site locations, including manufacturing sites with a workforce of 200+.
- Expertise in complex liasoning with unions, employee relations, external stakeholders, and local authorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong multitasking skills.
- Solid grounding in legal aspects of site management, vendor management.
- Proficient in technology usage, including Excel, presentations, whitepapers, and HR reporting software.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or MSW.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Health & Safety:
- Drive and support behavioral transformation to achieve "Target Zero" safety incidents.
- Role model safety behaviors and manage safety awards programs.
- Support cultural transformation initiatives in safety, teamwork, and people management.
2. Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with the Plant Head and Management Team to deliver plant strategy and performance.
- Provide coaching and consulting on HR & IR issues.
- Ensure job descriptions are updated and acknowledged by employees.
- Build technical and leadership capabilities for Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
- Oversee end-to-end performance appraisal processes.
- Develop and implement engagement surveys and execute action plans.
- Optimize workforce deployment, including contract labor.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and HR Services to meet hiring, training, and employee experience goals.
3. Industrial Relations:
- Execute employee & industrial relations strategies in collaboration with HRD.
- Manage union relations, local stakeholders, and government/community relationships.
- Handle and prevent labour strikes, site disruptions, and manage long-term wage settlements.
- Oversee disciplinary processes and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure smooth end-to-end contract labor management.
4. Compliance Management:
- Act as a role model for ABC and Code of Conduct policies.
- Ensure compliance with all HR and statutory requirements.
- Liaison with labor authorities and local administration to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with HQ for audits and ensure zero compliance risk.
- Manage POSH complaints, facilitate POSH training, and ensure yearly audits.
- Engage and educate vendors on compliance requirements through audits.
5. HR Operations:
- Oversee workforce planning based on production schedules.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across HR and administrative expenses.
- Manage employee well-being practices, including transport, canteen, and OHS facilities.
