In the role of Unit Head/Plant Head, we'll count on you to:
Work on Fabrication plant/Project that typically include Steel Bridge Fabrication & Heavy Structure Fabrication for projects. Hands full experience in Metro, Bridge, Roads, and Railways Project under fabrication work. Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projects Foster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staff Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire projects development Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule Collaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practice Select standard engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform and assist with geometric layout and quantity development Mentor younger staff and support continued development Perform other duties as needed

Steel bridge/Structural fabrication & Erection /Project Management Conducting inspection & survey of bridge structures and fittings for fabrication and erection. Looking after fabrication of various structures as per design/ production drawings, preparing Production plans with materials /machinery/ man power requirements. Machinery Operation and Maintenance Achieving time-bound targets of maintenance, operation of machinery as well as assessment of scope. Proposing/implementing alterations & additions/ modifications of existing systems for higher efficiency, improved performance, user friendliness, increasing maintainability and reliability. Quality Management Taking stringent quality measures including preparation I maintenance of standards as per Customer requirements. Conducting periodical internal audits to assess the status of deployment of systems and take Corrective measures for achieving organizational objectives and handling customer Complaints Internal & external. Operations & Materials Management Responsible for materials planning, Inventory control, ensuring timely availability, identification of alternatives for materials and sources, cost vs. quality evaluation of materials. Maximizing resources utilization by minimizing waste and effective planning. Project Management including personnel and material management in steel bridge fabrication and erection and heavy structural fabrication project planning, budgeting is main strength. Planning- Micro planning to achieve the targeted production as per schedule. Execution- Achieved targeted production with available resources. Mentoring-Mentor for staff Engineers & Tradesman. Achievement- Achieved highest target within provided TAT within simultaneously running projects. Conducted Kaizen and Safety training for all department personnel. Developing a Quality and Safety Plan. Coordination and conduction of periodic Cycle Counts. Analyzing inventory variances Certification of all production & assembled products to meet company quality & ISO requirements. Implementation a One Order Flow system in the fabrication to reduce necessary floor space. Using lean techniques to re-engineered facility layout removing NVA activities, improving process flows, and cycle times and created a reduction in WIP for a project savings.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. M.B.A in Industrial Production or Product management will preferred. Experience & Other preference A minimum of 15+ years experience in Fabrication of Heavy structures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and Auto cad. Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teams Project management skills including project scheduling Strong communication skills and willing to work in a team environment
