Senior Manager/Principal - Statutory Audit (8-15 yrs)

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Statutory Audit Senior Manager/Principal to join our Mumbai team.

Role Overview:

In this key leadership role, you will manage statutory audit engagements, lead a team of auditors, and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining client relationships, driving audit efficiency, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audit Strategy: Design and implement audit strategies for diverse clients, ensuring alignment with Indian laws and accounting standards.

- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of auditors, ensuring audit tasks are completed on time and within budget.

- Audit Review: Oversee the preparation and review of audit working papers, financial statements, and ensure conclusions are thoroughly documented.

- Client Engagement: Build and sustain strong client relationships, communicating audit results and recommendations clearly and professionally.

- Technical Knowledge: Stay updated with evolving accounting and auditing standards, providing training to ensure the team's continuous improvement.

- Process Enhancement: Play a key role in refining audit processes, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: At least 8+ years of experience in statutory audits, with a preference for candidates from mid-size professional services firms.

Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead audit teams and manage multiple engagements.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage projects, deadlines, and multiple client engagements concurrently.
