About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant to lead and manage the Bangalore branch of MGB.

- The ideal candidate will oversee all branch operations, ensuring the highest standards of audit, taxation, and financial services.

- This role requires a dynamic professional with expertise in managing teams, delivering client satisfaction, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Management:

- Oversee the overall functioning of the Bangalore branch, including operational, administrative, and financial aspects.

- Develop and implement branch strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Audit and Assurance:

- Lead and manage statutory, internal, and forensic audits for clients across diverse industries.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable audit standards and regulations.

- Supervise audit planning, execution, and reporting to meet client expectations.

Taxation:

- Provide expert advice on direct and indirect taxation matters.

- Ensure timely compliance with tax filing requirements and assess tax risks.

- Handle tax assessments, appeals, and litigation support services for clients.

Client Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing queries and providing actionable insights.

- Identify opportunities to offer value-added services to clients.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals to achieve performance excellence.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high ethical standards.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including company policies, financial laws, and professional standards.

- Prepare and present branch performance reports to senior management.

Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the branch's client portfolio.

- Represent MGB in networking events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 8-12 years of post-qualification experience.

- Proven expertise in audit, assurance, and taxation domains.

- Prior experience in a senior leadership role, preferably managing a branch or a large team.

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS) and tax laws.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strategic thinking with the ability to drive operational efficiency.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
