Job Description

We are seeking for a Manager, R&D to join our passionate and dynamic team of Pump development team. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers based at our engineering center. You will be responsible for research, planning, and implementing new programs and protocols into our company. You will also oversee the entire development process of new products and programs within the organization, from the initial planning phase to implementation or production.

This position is mainly located in Alwar Factory; however, it may involve travel to various locations based on requirement

You will join a team of research & development function dedicated to the latest developments in the R&D field , working closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as multiple business leaders, global colleagues, and corporate team. Our team culture is all about aiming high to achieve business goals in global cross-cultural environment. The members in our team are locations in India and various countries.

What you ll do

Oversee a team that develops products from the conceptual to launch stages and coordinates with departments such as operations, services and marketing to ensure products success.
Research and determine specifications for products including the right materials, measurements, and structures
Participate in product roadmap development to meet existing and newly identified customer requirements
Initiate, obtain approval and carry out design optimisation studies to enhance products as per needs identified
Investigation and resolution of warranty failures and writing technical reports
Coordinate new product testing in India
Hiring R&D team members and managing budget for R&D in India

To succeed

Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
8-12 years of Experience in Design Engineering Environment
Sound experience, preferably in a similar engineering, environment, position or discipline to heavy industry equipment
Proven ability to apply engineering principles and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and the Microsoft Office suite of packages
Working knowledge of relevant international standards and statutory requirements
Very good organisational and time management skills
Good Communication Skills interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
