Consultant Pathologist-Full timer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnostic Evaluation:

• Conduct thorough examinations of tissue samples, blood, and other bodily fluids to identify abnormalities and diseases.
• Utilize various laboratory techniques, including microscopy, molecular testing, and other diagnostic procedures to interpret findings accurately.

2. Consultation and Collaboration:

• Provide expert consultation to clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals on pathology findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine the best course of treatment for patients based on diagnostic results.

3. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to rigorous quality control standards in laboratory testing procedures.
• Review and validate test results to maintain accuracy and reliability.

4. Research and Development:

• Stay abreast of advancements in pathology through continuous learning and participation in research projects.
• Contribute to the development of new diagnostic techniques and technologies.

5. Education and Training:

• Mentor and train junior pathologists, medical students, and laboratory staff.
• Conduct educational sessions and presentations to disseminate knowledge and promote best practices in pathology.
