Methods Engineer (Chennai, Pondicherry, Chakan, Pant Nagar)

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for implementation of new lines / new machine.

Ensuring for new products launching, improving the existing processes, and addressing m/c & tool-related issues.

Conducting trials, supporting customer audits, and participating in APQP activities

Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and oversee the setup and commissioning of new lines / New machines.

Ensure alignment with design specifications, safety standards, and process quality

Conduct run-at-rate and yield rate trials for new product introductions.

Spare tool Maintenace in existing processes

Monitor trial results and implement necessary adjustments to meet production targets.

Address customer feedback and implement corrective actions as required.

Identify and execute improvement opportunities in existing production lines to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve tool-related breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

Actively participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to support new product launches.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on FMEA, control plans, and process validation.

Skills :

• Hands-on experience with production line setup and optimization.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting tools, electrical wiring, electronics instruments and equipment-related issues.
• Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA and quality assurance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving methods
• Programming experience in PLC/LabVIEW
• Experience in Electrical circuit diagram and Electronics integration

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing/production engineering.
