Senior Site Reliability Engineer

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems
• The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our infrastructure automation using Ansible
• This role requires a strong background in system administration and extensive experience in creating and managing Ansible playbooks
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation and configuration management, coupled with excellent problem-solving and programming skills in Ansible

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible, including excellent programming skills in Ansible.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain existing Ansible playbooks to ensure efficient and reliable automation of system administration tasks.
• Design, develop, and implement new Ansible playbooks to automate various operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible playbooks and automated processes.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in the best practices of Ansible and system administration.
• Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of infrastructure through effective automation and configuration management.
• Continuously improve and refine Ansible playbooks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Administer and automate network appliances, including firewalls, switches, and other network devices using Ansible.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Ansible, automation technologies, and network appliance administration.
