SAP ABAP with BTP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in Business Technology
Platform (BTP) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing,
and enhancing SAP applications and solutions, leveraging both ABAP and SAP BTP
technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective
implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring that they meet business requirements.

Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms
(e.g., SAPscript, SmartForms).
Design and implement solutions using SAP BTP, integrating with various SAP and non-
SAP systems.
Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure smooth implementation of SAP
modules.
Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and other BTP
services.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to ABAP and
SAP BTP.
Maintain and improve existing custom-developed solutions and ABAP code.
Participate in design discussions, technical reviews, and testing processes.
Write technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
Monitor and optimize performance of ABAP code and BTP solutions.

Skills Required:
Strong expertise in SAP ABAP Must have extensive hands-on experience with
ABAP development, including forms, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and user exits.
Experience with SAP BTP Practical knowledge of SAP Business Technology
Platform, including integration and development with SAP Cloud, HANA, and other
related tools.

Experience in SAP Fiori and UI5 Knowledge of developing or customizing Fiori
applications will be an advantage.
S/4HANA Knowledge Familiarity with S/4HANA environment and its integration with
ABAP.
Database skills Knowledge of SAP HANA database, SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services For integrations with SAP and
external systems.
Good knowledge of SAP development tools and methodologies.
Problem-solving skills Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in ABAP and
SAP systems.
Good communication skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams and interact with
business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2
years of experience working with SAP BTP.
Proven track record of delivering projects within deadlines.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (visiting SAP office on need basis).

Preferred Skills
SAP certifications in ABAP, BTP, or S/4HANA.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
