Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Web Services and Integration Specialist with extensive experience in web services, XML, XSD, JSON, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 11g, WebLogic administration, and Splunk log search. A strong background in Java, PL/SQL, including functions and triggers, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Services and Integration:

• Design, develop, and implement web services using XML, XSD, and JSON.
• Work with Oracle SOA Suite 11g and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 11g to create, configure, and manage integration solutions.

Middleware Administration:

• Administer and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues using Splunk log search.
• Database Management:
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Manage database operations related to event creation and message processing.
• Messaging and Queue Management:
• Create Oracle PL/SQL programs to generate events and push messages to JMS Queues.
• Configure OSB proxy services to poll messages from JMS Queues and process them accordingly.

External Client Services:

• Expose services to external clients, ensuring secure and efficient data processing.
• Handle incoming requests, process data, and interact with databases as necessary.
• Service Orchestration and Automation:
• Configure SOA services to poll messages from database tables.
• Invoke business rules and push messages to JMS queues for further processing.

Qualifications Technical Skills:

• TOP SKILL REQUIRED: Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 11g
• Strong experience in web services development with XML, XSD, and JSON.
• Proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite 11g and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 11g.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
• Ability to perform log searches and troubleshoot using Splunk.
• Advanced knowledge of Java, PL/SQL programming, including functions and triggers.

Additional Requirements:

Familiarity with JMS Queue management and message processing.

Experience with exposing and consuming web services for external clients.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
