Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Design Engineer / Project Data Management Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Qualification: BE in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools: Windchill, Teamcenter, or SAP PLM.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
• Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Perform design calculations and simulations to validate the design integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative designs.
• Ensure the design meets customer requirements, safety standards, and quality parameters.

• Manage and organize engineering documents, project data, and technical records.
• Ensure adherence to PDM/PLM systems like Windchill, SAP PLM, or Teamcenter for data management.
