Senior Analyst

• Extract and analyze competitor information from websites, preparing structured data for strategic decision-making
• Address complex web scraping and data extraction requests from stakeholders, ensuring accurate and relevant insights are gathered while preserving data integrity
• Conduct quality control for Analysts, ensuring data accuracy and reliability, and develop key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to provide actionable insights
• Interpret data trends and patterns to support strategic analysis and business intelligence initiatives

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• Perform scheduled web mining to extract and maintain up-to-date competitor data
• Prepare, format, and deliver data in a structured and system-ready format
• Oversee updates to competitor products, SKUs, prices, and data changes to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cleaned, and validated data for seamless integration
• Guarantee data consistency, comparability, and reliability across all metrics

• Web scraping / data extraction: Skilled in extracting and processing structured and unstructured data from websites efficiently
• Process Optimization: Proficient in automating and enhancing workflows for improved efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Data Quality Assurance: Expertise in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across various systems and interfaces
• System Integration: Experienced in managing and overseeing automated and manual data exchange interfaces across pricing tools, ERP systems, sales reporting, and master data systems
• Data Visualization: Skilled in designing and delivering impactful visualizations and dashboards to translate complex data into actionable insights

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:Educational Background: Master s degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Professional Certification: Credentialed in Data Science or Analytics, demonstrating advanced expertise in the field
• Experience:Proven expertise: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in web scraping, crawling, and information extraction from text data using object-oriented programming, Python preferred (good to have)Global exposure: Demonstrated success in international environments, collaborating with diverse, partially remote teamsTechnical proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of Strategic pricing tools, and applications, with expertise in Python, PySpark, R, SQL, JSON, HTML, and SeleniumAdvanced data capabilities: Strong background in data visualization using Tableau, Palantir exposure combined with an understanding of machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP)
• Analytical excellence: Proficient in analyzing, modeling, and interpreting complex datasets with precision and a methodical, logical approach
