Job Overview:
We are looking for an associate for the change manager s role in the powertrain domain. The role requires to steer the process of change management with the decision-making committee. The target is to support and document the decision-making process in the change management committee whenever product changes are initiated or processed. The change manager is the contact person for all inquiries regarding documented change requests of the assembly.
Roles Responsibilities:
1. Initiate changes in PDM systems in alignment with respective system project manager
2. Preparatory work- ensuring topics to be discussed, agenda, invitation, formal checks of changes and identifying problematic issues
3. Leading the distribution committee - moderation, minute taking and handling change management tools
4. Document resolutions and circulate minutes
5. Report generation for committees in line with system project manager
6. Controlling, decision making and generation of engineering changes or bundles
7. Cost assessment and documentation of the same in bundle
8. Drive resolutions based on traffic light status
Required Skills:
1. Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineer with basic experience in the field of product development or documentation
2. Good German language skills verbal and written. Keen to upgrade and further enhance skills. Minimum B2/C1 certified with very good conversational skills.
3. Basic understanding of product development process
4. Process-driven
5. Active listening skills
6. Clear articulation of messages on a global platform
7. Exemplary communication skills and able to work with people from all levels of the organization
8. Familiarity with project management process to be effective and organized
9. A good team player
