Key skills for the job
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a toolchain, which processes Mercedes Benz car ECU software by uploading, packaging, certifying, scheduling and deploying into the car including Over the Air update. The tool chain consists of more than 10 new in-house developed applications along with connection to various IT systems. and supports all use cases such as software development and testing in R&D, flashing of ECU software on Production lines, software updates and diagnosis in workshops world-wide, keeping customer cars up to date software and bringing updates to worldwide fleet.
We offer the opportunity to understand entire Mercedes-Benz technical stack which handles processing of hardware and software. You can also learn about the complete EE architecture of Mercedes Benz Cars and how Over The Air Update is implemented. You will get to work on the new Mercedes Benz Operating System(MB.OS) using latest tech stack, tools and platforms.
Must Have Skills :
Backend development/ Database expertise
Strong skills in a modern language and framework combination such as Java/Kotlin and Spring
Strong skills in a SQL technology, such as Postgres, MySQL or similar
Experience working with version control tools such as Git
Knowledge of NoSQL technologies
Knowledge ofcontainer platforms such as Docker
Experience with continuous integration practices and tools such as Jenkins
Experience building web/mobile back-ends and APIs
