Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through visual content, an eye for detail, and expertise in editing software. You will work closely with our production team to turn raw footage into polished videos that align with our brand standards and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit Video Content:
• Review and edit raw footage to create engaging, high-quality video content.
• Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and ensure smooth transitions.
• Collaborate with Creative Team:
• Work closely with directors, graphic designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and creative vision.
• Take feedback and make revisions to meet project expectations and improve quality.
• Add Visual and Sound Elements:
• Integrate graphics, animations, sound effects, and background music to enhance storytelling.
• Adjust colors, lighting, and audio levels to achieve a polished final product.
• Ensure Consistency and Brand Compliance:
• Adhere to brand guidelines in video style, tone, and aesthetics.
• Maintain consistency across different videos and platforms to reinforce brand identity.
• Stay Updated on Trends:
• Keep up with video editing trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve editing skills.
• Recommend creative editing approaches to make content more engaging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software like After Effects (a plus).
• Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong storytelling ability.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with audio editing software.
• Familiarity with social media video requirements.
• Knowledge of camera operation and video production equipment.
