Security Firmware Engineer - Embedded System (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement secure firmware solutions for embedded systems.

- Develop and maintain drivers and firmware for security subsystems (TPM/fTPM, secure boot, encryption engines).

- Integrate security features into the firmware, such as secure boot, attestation, and encryption.

- Debug and troubleshoot security-related firmware issues.

- Perform security assessments and vulnerability analysis of firmware.

- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure the security and integrity of the entire system.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of secure firmware development processes.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in firmware development with a strong focus on security.

- Strong proficiency in C programming and debugging techniques.

- In-depth knowledge of silicon security subsystems and policies.

- Expertise in Root of Trust (RoT), TPM/fTPM, and secure boot mechanisms.

- Experience with Widevine DRM.

- Understanding of trusted applications and handshake mechanisms.

- Experience with Git/Gerrit for version control.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with ARM architecture and embedded systems.

- Knowledge of secure boot standards and certifications (Common Criteria, FIPS 140-2).

- Experience with security testing methodologies
