Job Summary
Mellow Designs is a branding and UI/UX design studio. We handcraft and grow brands with our services, which include designing logos from scratch to building a complete visual identity, website design, advertising, social media marketing, media planning, photography, and videos. We also provide consultation and strategic business development solutions for our clients.
We re a small yet mighty team of designers, artists, and writers. Rohit Dhongade, founder and creative director, founded Mellow Designs in 2018 as he observed the dire need for creative, high-quality design. We still believe in the same values. We focus on quality over quantity. This has led us to work with some of the renowned brands in a very short span of time. We join hands with people who work for creative satisfaction and not just for money.

- A skilled UI/UX Designer based in Bangalore (or ready to move).
- Has a good understanding of UI Design Principles, UX Research, and Design Systems.
- Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
- Ability to identify user needs through research, customer journey mapping, and competitive analysis, and apply the insights to the design strategy.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Miro).
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma.
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills.
- Should have a laptop ready.
- If you re good at Graphic Design or Photography, it s a bonus on your salary
Your role:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers..
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Design user interfaces for products, websites, and e-commerce sites.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
- Maintain consistency in design elements, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness and auto-layout).
- Understand user/client feedback and improvise on that.
- Build websites on Webflow, with amazing interactions and animations.
- Visiting the client s place to plan the execution of the designs.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends. Sourcing custom quality design references for the client should be a piece of cake for you.
- You will take the lead in handling UI/UX projects and the UI/UX team of 2-4 members.
Software Skills:

- Pet person. Or at least not allergic to fur. (We have a cat, we call him Suki)

- You will have weekends for yourself. We do not work on weekends nor do we promise any deliverables during weekends.
