Job Description
We are looking for a BIM Modeler (Civil 3D Utilities) to work in our new Global Design Center based in Hyderabad; India.
- Develop detailed 3D models for specific design disciplines, roads & utilities, using Civil 3D for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in the BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Collaborate and coordinate internally or/and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes.
- Create discipline-specific BIM Modelling content.
- Develop accurate construction drawings and extracts data based on the discipline BIM platform.
- Coordinate design documentation as a methodology with full utilization of BIM software and tools.
- Act as task lead and manage design workflows.
- With presumably strong technical skills related to CADD standards and automation, prepare electronic drawing files within project standards, using 3D modeling /surface models, sketches, layouts, project instructions and notes.
- With a strong working knowledge of advanced drafting practices and familiarity with CADD principles, assist BIM Engineer and Digital Leads in text placement and editing, layering, snap, precision input, etc. for finalizing company tailored templates.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient modeling of infrastructure elements.
- Translate engineering designs and specifications into comprehensive Civil 3D models ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, models, and relevant data, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to verify model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Demonstrate expertise in Civil 3D software, utilizing advanced tools and functionalities to optimize modeling processes and outcomes.
- Other duties as required.
Candidates must have the right to work locally in Hyderabad together with 3+ years relevant work experience together with good English communication skills.
